There is a post on Whitebelt by Australian Michael Barnett in which he reveals himself as a casino spy. For the benefit of Greenbelters, I should point out that Barnett did attempt to join Greenbelt last month. He gave as his reference none other than BJ author, Peter Griffin. I called Peter and asked him if he knew Barnett. Peter Griffin remembered meeting Barnett in Australia a few years earlier, at which time Barnett was a player for one of Australia's large blackjack teams. He met him in a restaurant along with other team members. Peter did not really know Barnett well enough, however, to provide a solid reference.

Another Australian greenbelter, however, informed me that Barnett had gone over to the other side since Peter Griffin had met him, and that he was now running one of Australia's high-tech counter surveillance companies. So, Barnett was not allowed in.

But, you can bet that Barnett has many connections to players and former players, and I suspect he will continue trying to get into this group by whatever means necessary. Caveat countor. (Like all information on this board, this info is for Greenbelters only, and should not appear elsewhere.)
