Our original devices up to the Imate and Ericsson P900 were programmed using a development environment, which is no longer available or supported. The licence to use the environment has expired so we are unable to provide updates or bug fixes. We do have disk images available for all units produced and will provide them if need be.

The original devices and methodology served us well when we used them throughout the UK in 2002. At that time casinos did not believe that the game of roulette was beatable and only my wife and I used the term “Drop Zone” (It is now widely adopted and used by roulette wheel manufacturers to tout their wheels).

The effectiveness of the methodology and application of the original device was tested on one of the latest CNC machined solid rotor wheels by the National Weights and Measures Testing Laboratory on behalf of the British Gambling Commission.

Casinos suffered very heavy losses to the “Drop Zone” phenomenon prior to the publishing of the NWM report and several manufacturers have developed (or attempted to develop) wheels to counter this phenomenon.

There is much hype on the Internet regarding roulette prediction techniques, methodology and application but the bottom line is that roulette is a very hard nut to crack, with or without a device to help you.

Notwithstanding the above, it is important, particularly for the casino executive, to understand the conditions and procedures, which (still) make roulette beatable; it is no longer satisfactory to simply check for drop zones.

For this reason, and to cater for many requests to supply devices, I have re-written the software under a development environment that has allowed me to develop a program that will run on un-modified mobile phones rather than highly modified PDA’s.

The software accesses core timers within the target device; any timing errors are the result of human reaction time, not timing errors introduced by processes and applications running in the background.

Unlike earlier devices which needed input modifications and a connection to an inductive loop, these devices utilise the latest Bluetooth profiles which result in a stock-standard device capable of covertly assessing the vulnerability of any given roulette wheel.

Whilst these devices are capable of effective covert operation it is not our intention to supply them to the general public for casino deployment; for this reason, all devices will broadcast their presence by a unique digital wireless signature which identifies them as a concealed gaming device.

I have written these programs to be used by industry professionals as a training and evaluation aid.

Units purchased on company orders will be provided with full training and advice on how to deploy them to effectively assess roulette wheels and how to detect their digital signature. We will also provide information on how to deploy these devices covertly to better equip security personnel to identify their use.

We are happy to provide devices to other interested parties but it must be understood that we will not provide a “how-to-do-it” blueprint for covert casino deployment. It must also be understood that these devices broadcast their presence and purpose.
